Programs & Resources

Find your Cooperative Weed Management Area, learn about our Cost-Share program, and get help identifying invasive weeds on your property.

Cooperative Weed Management Areas

Nevada is home to nine Cooperative Weed Management Areas, or CWMAs: Newark/Long Valley, Pahranagat Valley, Railroad Valley, Snake Valley, Spring Valley, Steptoe/Butte Valley, Upper Meadow Valley, White River Valley, and Southern Nevada.

A CWMA brings landowners, agencies, and ENLC together to manage noxious weeds across a shared landscape. As ENLC puts it, "our model is collaborative, not adversarial." We maintain partnerships at the federal, state, and county levels, working alongside land management agencies, ranchers, and private landowners. #9

Cost-Share Program

In the past, ENLC's Cost-Share program has helped members bring in Tri-County Weeds to treat noxious weeds on their property at no cost, or helped supply the materials to do it themselves.

The program paused last year due to lack of funding. ENLC is working to bring it back for members. #10

Once funding is confirmed, members will be able to sign up for Cost-Share on this page.
